We are thrilled to announce that Susan Min Zhou, a well-known documentary film maker, will be the director of "The Due Time." Zhou is an award-winning journalist, filmmaker, and educator in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. She has been focused on telling Chinese American and Asian American immigrants' stories and bringing long-forgotten history to life. Min's body of work is a testament to her commitment to preserving and sharing the stories of Chinese American and Asian American immigrants. Her most notable contributions include the new feature documentary “Valor and Memory,” which is co-produced with three-time Emmy winner filmmaker, Bill Einreinhofer, and released through PBS national stations on November 9, 2024; and "The Trilogy: The Builders of the Iron Road," which chronicles the journey of Chinese railroad workers.
